Enter in the names of the 2 lime sources you wish to compare.
For each lime source, enter details on the lime’s particle size distribution and the neutralising value (NV) for each particle size range of lime. The numbers in the “% of lime” column should equal 100.
For each lime, enter the cost of the lime ($/t).
For each lime enter transport costs ($/t)
For each lime enter the cost of applying it ($/t). This is normally around $8 - $10/t.
Click on the “Calculate lime comparison” button. The cost of the equivalent of one tonne of 100% NV lime applied to the paddock can be compared between lime sources.
