The Jerdacuttup Top Crop and Pasture group are a group of farming families who aim to share in a better understanding of the local farming systems in the district and improve profitability for members, in an informal and social environment. Research activities focus on soil and crop health and include:

Crop establishment in typical non wetting soils of the area;
Microbial soil health trials,
Fungicide and nutrient interaction;
Nitrogen sources, rates and time of application;
Investigation of low yielding areas to ascertain root diseases and nutrient deficiency;
Canola, barley and wheat variety trials.
