RAIN (Ravensthorpe Agricultural Initiative Network) was established in 2001 by farmers with the purpose of promoting responsible natural resource management (NRM) and best practise farming in the Ravensthorpe district. RAIN acts as an umbrella group to a network of catchment, grower and community groups, providing support in a wide range of NRM activities. RAIN operates in the Shire of Ravensthorpe, part of the Shire of Lake Grace, stretching from Fitzgerald in the west, Mt Madden in the north, to Munglinup to the east.
